The classes provided by Maduro Salsa are based on a structured syllabus built around a six week program. The courses are designed to take a student from absolute beginners (level 1) to improvers 1 (level 3). A number of specific steps and techniques are taught at each level.
The courses have been validated by Basil Pinnock who is a UKA qualified instructor with the United Kingdom Alliance and a director of Dance2Salsa and Maduro Salsa. Courses are to a very high standard and are taught and delivered by Tony & Yvonne with a major emphasis on fun, development and exercise. Classes start approximately every six weeks throughout the year on various days and times. Please see below for full details of course dates and start times.
It is very important to note that our classes are pitched at a level which we believe accurately represents the salsa levels as they should be. At present there are six levels to our syllabus. Of great importance is the fact that great emphasis is placed on developing great technique over and above acquiring lots of moves.
